Meet Mimi
Duffy's Friends adopt dogs to the Rochester, Buffalo and Syracuse area's. We do require home ownership. We also require children in the home to be over 10 years of age and you must have a prior history of owning a dog in your name. We are waiving the fence requirement for Mimi as she is a quiet dog and can be exercise with walking. She would do fine on a trolley tie out in your back yard for potty. Trolley's are a free moving system and cost about $40.00 to purchase at a pet store.
Mimi is a dear little girl who was found wandering and no one came into the shelter to look for her. Our vet aged her at 1-2 years old and Duffy's Friends has spayed her and provided all vaccinations, worming, heart worm testing. She is on flea preventative and now ready for her new home.
She is very playful and we feel that she is more like one year due to the puppy left in her. She does not like other dogs and would be best as an only dog. . She is currently living with a older female dog who is teaching her that senior dogs have the authority. To place her correctly we are confident that she would be so much happier as an the only dog. We are lowering her adoption fee to $150.00 for a completely vetted pet.
She is housebroken and you can crate if that is your style. She crates wonderfully and likes to go in there to nap and relax, so no problems there.
Mimi is a total puppy underneath her shy and quiet exterior. She walks well on a leash. Her foster home thinks she is a great dog but her only restriction is that she needs to be the only dog in someone's life. Some one is getting a great dog!
