Picked up as a stray on 10/17. Available on 10/21. Oh Oscar, where is your family? This older guy has found himself in a strange place, and to top it off, in a cage. He is trying to be brave, but the big dogs barking scares him, and he feels safe in someone's arms. He's a very friendly dog, yes, he's a little older than most dogs here at the pound, but deserves a home just like the rest. We sure home someone will adopt this guy soon, if not claimed, the pound is no place for this gentleman. He would love to have a soft bed, and someone to love and care for him, please give Oscar a chance, and a retirement home! You really have to meet him, and we are certain, you will love this guy too!! $86.00 fee includes OH license, DA2PP, Bordetella vaccine, Hw testing, Worming and spay/neuter. Flea treatment will be provided if fleas are noticed. All dogs will be spayed/neutered and micro chipped before leaving the pound unless other arrangements are made to have your dog fixed elsewhere and approved by the warden. An e-collar may be purchased for $10.00. Because most of our dogs were picked up as strays, we have no knowledge of any behavior or health issues. Stray dogs are held for 72 hours before being placed for adoption. We welcome and encourage the cross posting of our dog's pictures to increase adoptions.
