BIG Finn German Shepherd Dog Mix St Stephen, NB

BIG and BOLD! Introducing Finn, an extra large boy (90+) with a big personality. Finn is gregarious and playful and has some training, but needs more leash training and better manners. Finn seems to like other dogs, but he is very rude and excitable about meeting them. He doesn't seem to follow any rules of "doggie etiquette". Once he has had a chance to settle after meeting a dog, he will quite happily walk along side or not pay much attention. He got along well with Lobo (who is patient and very stable with other dogs) and he has met some of the others, but his behaviour could get him into trouble if he met the wrong dog. Finn loves car drives and walks. He is about 4 years old, looking for a home with children 10+ who would continue his training. This big guy is going to make someone very happy because all he wants is to be with someone. He was surrendered on Sept 2, 2014. Alone all day in an apartment, he took to barking, which did not suit the immediate neighbours. Finn has great recall off leash and is a lovely walking companion. He has been tested with cats and is fine with them. Would need to be supervised initially as he is a huge bouncy dog who might get a bit carried away, but he does not mean them harm.
