Brenda is content it seems, she has a bed, a full belly, water, and people to fuss over her and love her, and sing with her! But the pound is not her home, she needs a home with a caring person, who will make her comfortable, and care for her. This would definitely need followed up with your vet. Brenda loves staying close to people, she is just a little nervous at the pound. The pound has had so many new strays, and the larger dogs do not find homes as quickly as the smaller dogs. Because most of our dogs were picked up as strays, we have no knowledge of any behavior or health issues. Stray dogs are held for 72 hours before being placed for adoption.
