Marcel Boxer & American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Memphis, TN

Update 2/9/17: Marcel is a happy, playful pup with lots of energy. He lives with his two foster siblings (a chihuahua and a German shepherd) and loves to play! He goes on a run with his foster dad almost every day. He is also great at napping on the sofa. If you'd like a new running buddy in your life, this is the pup for you!

Marcel is one tough cookie! And speaking of cookies.. he sure does love them!
Marcel has spent his whole life so far chained up in someone's back yard. He finally figured out a way to escape and was found by a Streetdog Volunteer who dutifully contacted owner information on his tags and returned him. Less than 1 week later he was found over 7 miles away from his home by someone else, exhausted and hungry. This time, his owners; did not return any calls about their found dog. So now Marcel is officially a Streetdog and loving every minute of it.

He is learning how to live indoors and trust humans. He loves to sit in your lap, gives hugs and kisses. He is working on making puppy dog friends and just needs a little TLC, reassurance that life is all hearts and hugs from here and a little patience!!

This super sweet pup is HW negative and otherwise healthy and ready to meet you! Marcel prefers female or calm dogs and can be selective about his canine companions.
