2/23/2015: Rylee is a pretty 1 year old Lab/Hound mix. She’s a very sweet and affectionate girl. She’s active and she loves to play. She loves people and human companionship. She weighs about 50 lbs, but is underweight so needs to gain some weight. She loves treats and is very food motivated! She was house trained before coming to us, so will most likely just need a little adjustment time in her new home. She’ll need a home without cats.

Rylee is very friendly with most people, but she's met a few people who she's initially scared of. More socializing and training with treat rewards will help her overcome those instances where she's unsure about someone. We'd prefer to place Rylee in a home without small kids. She hasn't had any problem with kids that she's met, but just to be safe.

Rylee gets along with most dogs and loves to play with them. If you have a dog we'd ask you to make an appointment to bring your dog in to make sure they like each other.

Rylee has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for heartworms. She came to us from a Louisiana shelter who needed help finding good homes for some of their dogs. She’s a doll!

> Our goal is to send you home with a healthy pet and any information and support you may need to help your new pet adjust to his or her new home. All of our dogs & puppies have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas & ticks, tested for heartworms (7 mo. and over), and are on monthly heartworm preventative. Puppies who are too young to receive all the necessary puppy boosters and/or first rabies shot may be brought back to us for those vaccines at no extra charge. You will also receive a leash, collar, coupons for pet supplies and services, toys, and educational materials. And we'll give your dog a bath before he or she goes home!

> Please note that we prefer and may require a fenced yard for many of our dogs. Exceptions are made on an individual basis depending on the dog's needs, the person's dog experience, the dog's and person's activity levels, home environment and other factors.

> An application is required to adopt a pet and applicants must meet our adoption requirements. If you decide you'd like to adopt one of our dogs, we reserve the pet for you but we generally don't send the dog home with you that same day.
