Meet Bessie
Bessie is a pitbull mix and approximately 5 years old. She is spayed and update on shots. She came to us heartworm positive, and since then has completed her treatment and is now heartworm free.
Bessie is the longest pup in our rescue as she has been with us for 2 years. Unfortunately, she has several strikes against her, one being that she is a pit, two being that she does not like cats, and three that she does not do well with children under 12 years old. She is a dominate female and would do well with more submissive male and female dogs. She was a great mother to a litter of 6 beautiful puppies that were adopted almost 2 years ago. Bessie is waiting for her turn.
