Cullen Greyhound New Hope, PA

Cuddly Cullen, needs a home. Ordinarily, you don’t associate the word ‘cuddly’ with the word ‘Greyhound,’ but that’s only because you haven’t met Cullen.
This big, 10-month-old puppy is bursting with love that he wants to share. If you are standing, he’ll rest his head on your feet. If you are sitting, he’ll rest his head on your lap. If you are driving, he’ll be right there with his head on your shoulder.
Cullen came to us on September 3rd needing immediate, complex surgery for an injury he sustained while playing with his littermates. After a few days in the hospital, he went to a foster home where he began his recovery while learning the rudiments of living in a home. Cullen is a smart boy! He caught on quickly to the concept of letting you know when he has to go out.
Cullen will need several simply range-of-motion exercises daily, to help him regain use of his leg. He loves the attention, and you’ll enjoy the easy interaction with him, too. He must not be allowed to run until the healing process is complete, but short walks on lead provide excellent exercise.
Cullen is slightly too interested in cats for us to place him with them, but he is just fine with very small dogs and, of course, dogs his own size. He loves being with people, so a home where someone is not gone for a full workday would be ideal. Also ideal would be a relatively quiet home where the chance of being bumped or knocked over would be slim. Easy access outside, that would not require a lot of steps, would be perfect!
The expectation is that Cullen will regain full use of his leg. In the meantime, slow and steady progress is the order of the day.
