Maris Tabby & Domestic Short Hair Mix Medfield, MA

Maris just returned from spending 6 weeks in a foster home where she was a wonderful companion to her foster mom who had just lost her husband. Her foster mom says she is the perfect cat and an excellent companion that loves to be by your side, sleep on the bed with you and comfort you when you are sad. She is never a nuisance and never underfoot. She tearfully returned Maris only because she is heading to a place in Florida where she can't have a cat. She thinks Maris would thrive in a quiet home with someone that needs a companion and asked us to please find her a perfect home. She is a very regal cat with gorgeous green eyes, but is quite obese and is working hard on her diet. She is much livelier than when she first came to us and clearly thrived in her foster home. She is approximately 4 years old, and healthy in spite of weighing in at 21 lbs.

The Shelter is staffed primarily by volunteers and all visits to the Shelter must be scheduled in advance to insure one of our volunteers is at the shelter to meet you. Our adoption fee for adult cats is $125. Our kitten adoption fee (cats up to 6 months old) is $160 for a single kitten or $260 for a pair. The adoption fee includes the first set of vaccines, dewormer, combo testing and spaying/neutering when old enough.
