Meet Marmalade
Marmalade was left behind when her owners moved away. They left poor Marmalade outside wearing a too-tight harness and a name tag. Even though she is short haired, her back was very matted and our volunteers had to shave the mats off. She was very good for that procedure. She's very sweet and loves to curl up in a cozy bed. She is 13 years old, but our vet had estimated her at 8 or 9 so she is in good shape for a senior. She'd make a great pet for a senior since she has no interest in running out the door, no interest in scratching your curtains or other naughty kitten behaviors or insisting on constantly being patted.
This gentle cat is only looking for a warm home with a sunny spot for taking sun baths and a person that appreciates her brightening up your day by welcoming you home with a gentle purr and asking to share a chair to watch Antiques Roadshow or Bones( if you cover her eyes for the scary parts) . Marmalade recently had blood work to make sure she is healthy, and a dental cleaning so she is ready for a new home.
We do not charge an adoption fee for senior cats.
