Meet Armando

Armando came to us at 8-months-old from a homeless cat colony, where he had been injured by an animal much larger than he. While it didn't appear he had won the fight, he was quick and smart enough to get away from his attacker. Someone found him rough shape, barely able to move, and arranged for him to come to STAF.

Fortunately, Armando's injuries didn't affect any vital organs, so with pain medication, antibiotics, lots of stitches, and of course, volunteer TLC, he has healed in great shape! He has no long-term health problems and is ready to go back to being a kitten, this time in a people home.

Armando couldn't be any sweeter! He loves people and comes right over to greet you. He rubs his head on your hand and shuffles his feet in a cute little march to show you how happy he is. He's equal parts lap cat and play boy, a unique combination in a cat under a year old.

His coat is an unusual shade of gray/taupe with dove gray stripes and patches of white. His eyes, a coppery gold color, are enormous and extremely engaging - it's hard to look away from him. While still a few months away from being full grown, it appears he's going to be a substantial boy, strong and sleek.

This is a truly wonderful and unique guy! You don't want to miss him, so stop in soon!
DOB: Oct. 2013.
