The fabulous Malea is looking for love! This soft pillow of a kitty purrs when picked up and snuggled. She has a fabulous calico coat which she keeps in exquisite condition, and the loveliest green eyes. She is also front declawed. Malea is unusually patient, indulging volunteers' amusement with dressing up cats in costumes.

Malea's is the age old story of love and loss, but she's a survivor. She was left alone and confused in an apartment complex parking lot as her human drove away with everything she knew and loved. She waited for two weeks, frightened and hungry, not knowing how to live on the streets. Finally, a neighbor stepped in and she came to STAF. Once healed from her emotional scars, Malea was adopted by a wonderful "cat mom." But after several blissful years in a home, she sadly returned to STAF when her loving person passed away.

Malea's looking for a new person whom with she can share her love of serene nights on the couch and morning cuddling. She's very attentive, yet quiet, so the perfect companion to help out in the home office. She's loyal, trusting, beautiful, and so loving. You can't ask for more! All cats and kittens have been vet-checked, spayed/neutered, and are up-to-date on vaccinations. Adoption fee includes carrier, scratching pad, starter pack of food and litter, and toy. We prefer kittens be adopted in pairs. We offer free advice anytime about your adopted cat. If, for any reason, it doesn't work out, we will take the cat back, anytime in the future. Potential adopters must be interviewed in person, at the shelter, and live within 150 miles of Cincinnati. We will ask you to return to the shelter for a second visit to be sure of your decision.
