Merle's adoption donation is $400 and he is being fostered in Central Ohio. He has been neutered, microchipped, received his rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms and started on prevention as well as flea prevention.
Merle came into rescue as a hot mess from a local kill shelter. He is a one year old, grizzle colored Shih Tzu or Shih Tzu mix. He was picked up as a heavily matted stray and was very scared at the shelter and no one could really get close to him. Now that Merle is out of the shelter, he is a completely different dog. He loves to be with his person and would follow you everywhere. Merle gets along with other dgos but would be best as an only dog. Since Merle didn't do so well in the shelter, a quieter home would be best so no children and a home with Lhasa experience is required.
