Mookie Domestic Short Hair Medfield, MA

Mookie was put outside when he was fighting with the 2 other cats in the house. Like too many pets, he was placed on Craigslist with little concern who would answer the ad. The owner just wanted him gone. The saddest part is they thought she was fighting for no reason out of the blue. Luckily a rescuer answered the ad. When she went over and found Mookie outside it turns out "she" was actually an unneutered male and the other cats were unspayed females. The owners still did not want him back when the obvious solution was offered to them. Mookie saw the vet on 8/12 and is now available for adoption. He is very friendly and sweet and loves toys, especially catnip toys.

The Shelter is staffed primarily by volunteers and all visits to the Shelter must be scheduled in advance to insure one of our volunteers is at the shelter to meet you. Our adoption fee for adult cats is $125. Our kitten adoption fee (cats up to 6 months old) is $160 for a single kitten or $260 for a pair. The adoption fee includes the first set of vaccines, dewormer, combo testing and spaying/neutering when old enough.
