Andy Shih Tzu & Poodle Mix Dallas, TX

I'm Andrew Jackson...Andy for short. A.R.N.T thinks I am a Shih Tzu/Poodle mix and about 5 years old and weigh around 11lbs.. A nice lady found me wandering the streets a couple of years ago and took me in and got my vaccinations and all cleaned up and gave me to her grown daughter who I loved but she got very sick afterwards and passed away. The lady took me back home with her but her dog did not like sharing with me so she gave me to ARNT to see if they could find me a good home. I'm a little shy at first but once I feel safe I am very friendly. I just want to be loved for who I am. I get along with other dogs but big ones scare me a little. I am house broke but once in a while I will mark inside the house to try and let the other guys here think I am the boss. I am current on my vaccinations, heart worm free, micro chipped and neutered. I have come out of my shell quite a bit but my foster mom wants me to go to a home where someone is home part of the day to give me lots of attention so I feel safe in my new home. My foster mom thinks I would do good with children who like to love on dogs and know how to interact with small ones. She will want do check out the fence around my new home to make sure it is in good shape so I don't get out and get lost so I can only be adopted to someone who lives in the DFW area.
