Lefty found his way to STAF via a local shelter. Before that wonderful day when he came to STAF his history was unknown. That's ok. We like to help our dogs with the future. We don't like to have them dwell in the past.

Lefty's a seasoned vet when it comes to life. Being five years old we are sure that he has seen, and done, many things. He is handling this new transition very well. He is loving all of the attention. We have also found out that he very much enjoys playing with tennis balls. If they could only talk!

Lefty's estimated birth date is July 2009. He weighs 15 pounds. After he's been chasing after his tennis balls his tongue is as long as he is.

All of our animals are spayed/neutered and current on shots.
You must complete an application at the shelter prior to meeting any of our animals. (Sorry--our application is not available on-line or via email.)
We do not do same-day adoptions; we ask that you return for a follow-up visit before taking an animal home.
We require a fenced yard (sorry--no invisible fences) for homes with children under age 13.
We do request vet and personal references.
At this time, we are only able to consider applicants within 150 miles of Cincinnati.
