Meet GQ

GQ is a 13 lb Yorkie mix and he is about 1 year old. GQ was surrendered to Animal Welfare League's intake facility on Chicago's south side by his owners. They stated they couldn't care for him. It is hard to tell in pictures, but he was in rough shape. His coat was very matted and urine stained, and he had fleas. He visited our vet and got a flea bath, and our groomer gave him a shave down to relieve his skin of being painfully pulled on by all that matted hair. Despite the deplorable condition his owners left him in, he is the happiest little guy! He LOVES people and has done well meeting other dogs. He's a little shy around other dogs at first but warms up quickly.
