My Ideal Home: .Here is Jazmine, a petite princess with a big personality. She is 7 years old, has apparently become a mother several times during her lifetime, and thankfully, will now be retiring to a life of chin leisure...She is a little girl, at 7 1/2 lb., and while she's still timid with people, her spunk and feistiness is starting to come out in quiet moments when no one outside the 'family' is around. She is loving the grass and sunshine, which, apparently she had none of in her 7 years of life...whoever ends up adopting her will be very lucky!!! She is making progress with her housebreaking, and the daily encouragement is helping. She will do best in a quiet home, without young children or lots of activity. She seems fine with or without other dogs, she is mainly interested in staying close to her person, even enjoying the occasional cuddle. Today, at one week here, she has found her voice, which is shown here with her first woo hoo!!! She is now spayed, up to date on vaccinations and ready for her forever home!

Adoption Process: To adopt a Chin from JCCARE, start by filling out the application found on our website at www.japanesechinrescue.org. The application is under the Forms menu.

If you aren’t ready to adopt yet but would like to help this dog, please click on the purple SPONSOR ME button above the name. Your donation will help us to pay for the care of this dog until he/she finds a furever home.

JCCARE also maintains the lives of many senior and special needs Chin in our “Sanctuary” program. These dogs are not listed on petfinder, as their health issues make them unlikely to ever be adopted. If you are a lover of the breed, could you please consider sponsoring one of our seniors? You can find their pictures and stories under OUR CHIN on our web site: www.japanesechinrescue.org
