Cash Terrier & Jack Russell Terrier Mix South Portland, ME

Cash is a 3 1/2 - 4 yr old terrier mix, who only weighs about 20 lbs.. Very sadly Cash's owner has passed away and he is distraught and doesn't know what to do without him ..... could you be his forever home? He is 100% housebroken and not destructive in the house (but he does love to shred newspapers, paper towels). He enjoys a good walk and then likes to sit in a chair and look outdoors and also loves to sit in your lap.

From his current foster: Cash is doing great in my home and learning to come when called on a long line, stay on his mat, sit, and touch. He is an amazing dog to train,sleeps in the crate fine and likes to ride the car. He is an alarm barker when someone enters, but quickly asks for affection. He loves to snuggle in your lap. He is enjoying the morning romps in the woods and the leash walk through the neighborhood and loves all the dogs he meets. I can see him as a companion to a playful dog who needs a playmate.

History: Cash is a Terrier mix who was rescued from a high kill shelter on his last day. He acts like a puppy and is very exuberant. He loves racing around the yard and coming inside for a nap. Cash is crate trained and learned the doggie door very fast. He loves playing with other dogs and loves his toys, He is a very happy boy that wants to please and is a fast learner.

The adoption fee:
Under 7 months: $400
7 months to under 6 years: $350
6 years and under 9 years: $250 bonded pairs are $450
9 years and older: $200 bonded pairs are $250

This includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/lyme/erlichea test and worming and transport fees.
