Meet Dent Davis

My name is Dent. My foster mom said she wants to call me uno, or captain because I only have one eye. I don’t let that stop me one bit. I am nine years old.
I want to find a perfect match. I am a romantic, I love being petted around my ears, I will lean into your hand if you are doing right. I love belly rubs, it makes my little feet thump. When you walk into a room my eye lights up, it melts my heart when you show me love.

I want to tell you that I love you, I miss you and let’s snuggle.
I am better if I am the only one that has your heart. I don’t like sharing my bed because I like to sprawl out to sleep, If I find someone else in my spot I tell them to move and get out.

If you let me be the man in your life (I mean the only four legged kind) then I will show you love. I will snuggle really close to you. I will watch movies or sit on the porch. I will make you feel like you are the most important person in the world, because you will be. I hope this works, I haven’t ever gotten online to find my true love. You know the saying right?.... The quickest way to a man’s heart is through his tummy. So bring plenty of yummy treats, I am 17lbs of love.
If you think you are a perfect match we should arrange a first date.

If you think that I may be my forever family and I’m the missing pup from your life please fill out an application and someone will get to you let you know out more about me and how to begin the process of adoption. You can contact my foster mom at doggiefoster1950@yahoo.com for more information.

Start the process of adopting me or one of the other pups by filling out the application found at www.shihtzu-rescue.com.
PS. I've had ALL my vetting, and oh boy, it was a lot. Here's what I had done:
Distemper/Parvo shots – TWICE. One shot doesn't cut it.
Bordetella shots - ALSO TWICE.
Spay/Neuter-of course.
A fecal exam so I don't have any bad worms. Treatment if I do.
A heartworm test. Treatment if I am positive for heart worms
BLOODWORK to make sure my liver and kidneys are working well, because you know, we doggies often have issues in the liver and kidneys.
A DENTAL exam AND cleaning if I needed it- yep, all my toofies are checked out.
See, that's a LOT. Ask your vet - that's a LOT.
