Latte Rabbit Bunny Rabbit Mix Sacramento, CA

Latte is a beautiful, medium size rabbit who arrived with her handsome brother Mocha in May. They were terrified and poorly groomed, but have both adjusted well and become used to the attention they get from kind volunteers and techs at the shelter. They seemed to have social natures and wanted to be loved, but someone probably kept them outdoors in a hutch where a lot of wild, prey animals like raccoons, feral cats, or raptors tried to get to them.

Latte has blossomed in a loving foster family with indoor dogs, a cat and 3rd grader. She is extremely outgoing, energetic and fun. She will do well in a common room with a family that will enjoy her companionship and high energy. This is not a rabbit that will be happy cooped up in a tiny cage by herself. She seems to prefer women over women.

All rabbits are spayed/neutered (age permitting) and litter box trained. All rabbits are to be adopted to indoor homes only.

Current bunny parents are encouraged to bring their rabbits to adoption clinics if they are interested in adopting a companion rabbit. Your rabbit must be spayed or neutered to be eligible to meet one of our fosters. SHRS volunteers will be happy to help your bunny through that feisty first date.

*We are always prepared to trim nails during adoption day. If your bunny has matted fur, call our bunny line in advance (916-863-9690) to make arrangements for a fur makeover. Donations of $10 are appreciated!
