Mocha Rabbit Bunny Rabbit Mix Sacramento, CA

Mlocha is a sweet, pudgy boy who arrived with a beautiful litter mate at the Front Street shelter. They were poorly groomed and very scared when they arrived in May, but they have turned out to be very sweet and social as they learn to trust people who are kind to them. Mocha is shy when strangers come to the house, but he loves his extended foster family that includes small dogs, an indoor cat, and a responsible 3rd grade rabbit whisperer.

During adoption events, Mocha has demonstrated a sweet, docile, and gentle nature. He acts a little shy, until someone gets in his pen to pet him. He loves being petted and will ask for more if you stop. Mocha will do well in many types of homes, but like all rabbits he wants to be part of the family and should not be kept outside.

All rabbits are spayed/neutered (age permitting) and litter box trained. All rabbits are to be adopted to indoor homes only.

Current bunny parents are encouraged to bring their rabbits to adoption clinics if they are interested in adopting a companion rabbit. Your rabbit must be spayed or neutered to be eligible to meet one of our fosters. HRS volunteers will be happy to help your bunny through that feisty first date.

*We are always prepared to trim nails during adoption day. If your bunny has matted fur, call our bunny line in advance (916-863-9690) to make arrangements for a fur makeover. Donations of $10 are appreciated!
