Misty is a beautiful, shy girl, and although she is certainly no border collie, we just couldn't leave her behind in the shelter. We are guessing by her appearance that she may have some Husky in her heritage, however, she is a fairly petite girl. We are unsure of her history but she is a fearful dog and is terrified of men, so we believe she must have been mistreated before coming into rescue. Misty will bond closely with her person, currently her foster Mom, but will need a patient home to allow her the opportunity to gain trust and confidence. She is good with other dogs but is a little too interested in the kitties. Because of her shy nature, Misty would be best in a home without small children.
Misty is looking for a forever home that is willing to give her the chance to shine!
