Meet Skippy-LOCAL in Maine

Skippy is a fun loving, docile, sweet, quiet and well behaved boy who was rescued from a high kill shelter in May because he was/is such a great dog! He appears to be mostly retriever as he has the longer hair like a Lab and the super cool freckles that may be a Cattle Dog, but we are sure there may be other things in there, possibly some Collie. Just look at those "eyebrows", how cute is he? He is just over a year old and is great with any dog and loves children. He does well on the leash as well as off the leash once he is bonded with you of course. Skippy is 65lbs and is crate/house trained. He is medium energy and loves everyone he meets, his tail never stops wagging and you can literally see the smile on his face. He would love a home with another dog though it's not required. He has been in a doggie daycare environment for about 5 weeks now and is used to having lots of play time, though he is quiet and reserved when no one is home. He is such a ham will do well in almost any situation. He is eager to please and accepts training like a champ, AWESOME family dog, apply today and bring your family to meet him.
