Duffy's Friends matches families to shelter dogs and we adopt to the Monroe County area only. We will travel 10 miles over the border in any direction as we respect the time constraints of our volunteers.

We require traditional fence, prior history of owning a dog with vet references in your name. We ask that children that live in the home be over the age of 10 years.

This is Shay and she looks like pure Silky Terrier in her as she is 15 lbs. She is about 5 years old and is housebroken. She is heart worm negative and has been provided all vaccinations. She was found in the shelter and with hair badly matted she will receive a summer hair cut - can't save this coat! In three months you will see the beautiful Yorkshire colors of black and tan points.

Our groomer confirmed she thought she was a Silky which a more calm dog in the terrier lines. She is fabulous dog and will merge easy into your lifestyle.

She is a great little girl and walks so proudly on a leash. The nicest thing is this girl is housebroken. The foster home is crating her at night to get her use to the process but she does not need it. She also can live with cats and the cats seemed to like her. How can you not like this girl as she is special and sweet as sugar.

We also provided a dental so her teeth are white and clean when we spayed her.
