Meet Lucy
Lovely Lucy is about 6 years old, and was found wandering the railroad tracks near Los Angeles -- tired, hungry and a little shy, although she did let the kind young lady pick her up and take her home. And then she slept ... for 3 days straight ... probably with a roof over her head for the first time in a very long time. When she awakened, she ate and then got a much-needed bath. Sadly, she had to be shaved to remove months of neglect, but it has grown back in and she looks BEAUTIFUL!
Lucy has learned what it's like to be an indoor dog, and she thinks that's a pretty cool thing indeed! She picked a chair and claimed it as her own ... and that's where you will find her when she's resting or trying to engage her foster siblings sin play. Lucy gets along with other dogs and is learning that having humans to love her is a pretty great thing. Lovely Lucy has a much brighter future ahead of her and she would love to share it with you.
