Mindy was intercepted at the San Bernardino City Shelter. Her owner could not afford the cost of medical attention for her so he was going to have her euthanized. It was her lucky day! Lydia, Poochmatch founder, crossed paths with the owner coming out of the Shelter as he was entering and asked why he was going to relinquish her and a sibling. Instead, he relinquished her to me. She was pregnant and all of her puppies have since found their forever homes - it is high time Mindy found her forever family. She would do well with a less active family. She likes to hang out in a warm lap and take an occasional walk. She is quiet and would be ideal for apartment or condo living. About 5 years old, and weighing in at 8 pounds, she'll make a good loyal companion who embraces affection.

If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between 1-5 PM, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and return it via email to poochmatch@hotmail.com no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Upon receipt AND approval, the dog you are interested in meeting will be made available to meet on a Saturday. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. The only way to ensure that the dog that you are interested in will be at the adoption event is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION AND BE APPROVED. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. If you cannot make the time frame of our events, appointments can be made at another time and location solely at the discretion of the foster parent. Please understand that private appointments will be coordinated to meet the convenience of the foster parent/transporter. We cannot hold dogs, please submit your application when you are ready to adopt.

All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, core vaccinations (rabies and 2 sets of distemper/parvo), fecal testing and deworming. Adoption fees vary solely based on age and size.
