Meet Winnie
Winnie is probably a schnauzer poodle mix. She is From Pima Animal Care and Control where she was originally taken by poodle rescue. They decided she was much more a schnauzer so she came to us. She is standard schnauzer size at about 45-50 pounds. Winnie is anywhere from 2 to 3 years old.
This is from her foster where she has been for a month. She is doing so much better than when she first came. She is fine with other dogs and super playful with some; ok with kids but not interested in playing with them; don't know about cats; doesn't fetch but loves toys for chewing and enjoying next to her person; has a high prey-drive; runs beautifully; is highly trainable; still exuberant but can check herself when told. It's taken her about a month at our house to settle in.
Winnie is very sweet.. She listens and obeys well. She tends to come off shy until you get to know her. Once you do, she is very loyal. Winnie is good with cats (proper introduction required of course) and other dogs.
Winnie is good on a leash but can be a little aggressive towards bikers and other humans on a walk. She will need some work with that. She eats her food regularly and is house broken.
She was fostered over Memorial Day weekend and he had a very pleasurable experience with her.
Winnie's adoption fee is $275.
