--JP Terrier Mix Spring Lake, NJ

JP is an 1 year old Deaf Terrier mix pup that is part slapstick comedian, part cuddle bug. JP is currently sharing his foster home with 2 other dogs, an 8 year old Boxer and a 6 year old Terrier Mix. He spends his days playing with the 6 year old, and the evenings cuddling with the old man and his foster mom. JP is currently being trained to learn signs for all his basic commands. His first session went great and he is a natural. Eager to learn, he picked up sit, down, come, place and leave it in record time. He and his foster mom are practicing everyday so his family has a nice foundation.

JP will need an active family that will keep him busy. A young dog that loves to play and that JP can learn the ways of the home would be wonderful! JP did pass his cat test when he was at the shelter, but he wants to play with them, so if you have cats, you should be experienced in introducing them.

He is an amazing little boy, super adorable, a nice size (40lbs) and loves being part of a family. He can’t wait to find his forever home soon. Contact Rescue Ridge to set up a meet!
