Meet Caro
Caro is about 6 months old, weighs 45-50 pounds. Based on her current age/weight, the charts say she will end up 70-75 pounds, but who knows. That is about the size of a golden retriever.
She is crate- trained, sometimes needs a little coaxing to go in, but once she is in there, she lays down. Sleeps all night. Has had just one pee accident in the house, no solid accidents. We are usually very diligent about watching her.
Caro has learned sit, down and is walking much better on a leash. She needs obedience to secure a reliable come and other basics. She does not jump on you, but will jump up next to you. We are working on that. In spite of her size, she is still very much a puppy! She enjoys being outside, but would really rather be wherever we are. Loves the water! Plays well with the other dogs. She is a little wary of strangers, sometimes will cower backwards a little when they reach out to her, as if she is afraid of being struck, but warms up quickly. Very affectionate.
