Say hello to Scruffy Blossom! Blossom for short. What a beautiful little lady she is, both inside and out. Blossom came to SSWR as an owner surrender through no fault of her own. Her people recently moved to Florida. They travel a lot on business and didn't have their usual support to help take care of her. They felt bad that she was left alone most days so in her best interest they contacted us.
Blossom is a friendly Westie mix that is super sweet, totally a lover and gets along great with her foster fur brother and sisters. She is a senior dog but don't let that deter you from adopting her. She is a small 12 lbs, sprite, inquisitive and has a lot of pep in her step. Her tail wags in overtime!

Westie Rescue will conduct a phone interview in addition to personal and veterinary reference checks.
A Home Safety Check will be required prior to approving any adoption.
A tax deductible DONATION is requested at the time of adoption. These donations are the lifeblood of the organization and we can't rescue Westies without them. We operate under the 501(c)(3) of the Mid Atlantic States; their suggested tax-deductible Adoption Donations range from $250-$500. The Adoption Donations are not for a particular dog, but go toward rescue and care of incoming dogs.
