Rosa Mae 123862 Staffordshire Bull Terrier Newark, NJ

Rosa is a gorgeous and sweet 5+yr old Staphie girl. She is a little hand shy and was obviously used mostly as a breeding mom. She walks very well on lead and takes treats with the most gentle of mouths. Even though she is hand shy and ducks form you she will happily have you rub and scratch all over her. She is laid back and very calm with just a hint of possible playtimes in her. She perked at our toys but wasn’t sure she felt like playing today. She takes and releases the rawhide very nicely and has wonderful manners. She does not like many other female dogs but did get along with the male we brought out to meet her. Rosa Mae would be a lovely family dog for that staphie loving family or person.

JUNE IS A PURR-FECT TIME TO ADOPT A CAT

During Adopt-A-Cat Month, cat and kitten adoption fees will be reduced from &75 to $50. Two cats or two kittens can be adopted together for the special reduced rate of $75. All cats and kittens will be microchipped free of charge.

If the animal has not been altered, there is an additional low-cost fee of $35 or with the adoption of two cats, the altering fee is $60 for both.

As a thank you to those who already have brought cats into their lives, owners may bring their cats into our Animal Care Center and have them fitted with a Home Again microchip for only $20.

Anyone adopting a cat or kitten or bringing in their own pets for microchipping will also receive a free family pass to Popcorn Park in Forked River, NJ

SOCIETY OFFERS FREE DVDs ON ALL CAT AND CAT ADOPTIONS

With each adoption, the Society will present a DVD on TRAINING YOUR DOG OR YOUR ADOPTED CAT at no charge. The dog video will include problems with chewing, jumping, mouthing, etc., but who trains a cat? There are $300 worth of free coupons offered with the dog video and $100 in free coupons for each cat adopter.
