Coco A’Zachary has had a confusing life. When his first person became very ill, he was surrendered to a local shelter. It was noisy and scary there, so CocoZ became fearful of strangers and new situations. He was adopted and everyone thought he had truly found his forever home. Unfortunately, his happily ever after only lasted a few months. When his person moved to a new home, he was not part of her plans. Instead, CocoZ was sent to a rescue. The little fellow was extremely scared again and now did not trust people.
He is absolutely adorable, spunky, and very sweet. Luckily, he has been placed in a wonderful foster home where they understand his fear of abandonment and are very patient with him. It has taken time, but CocoZ is learning to trust people again. His favorite things are his walks, sleeping with his foster mom, and getting treats. He is trusting enough that he will even give his people kisses now.
CocoZ likes adults and teenagers. He cannot be placed in a home with young children. His ideal person will be very patient with him and aware of his special needs. While he gets along with small submissive dogs, CocoZ would probably do best as an only pet. This little fellow knows his basic commands and is housetrained. Since he is not destructive, CocoZ has never needed to be crated.
He is looking for a new lap to sit on and someone to give him belly rubs. Can you provide this cute fellow a home where he is loved and understood? He will be your most loyal best friend ever and love you with his whole heart. Please apply to adopt CocoZ today.
The adoption fee for this dog is $325, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter and microchip. Some animals cost more than others to rescue, so our adult animal adoption fees range from $275-$350. The adoption fee imposed for each animal is based on: fees paid to the shelter, vetting costs, transport costs, and boarding costs.
