"I was taking another Streetdog to meet her new foster when I saw 3 cars pulled over on the shoulder of the left-side median on 40 East. They were all trying to corral a little brown dog that was running scared between the left lane of traffic and the concrete barriers. I pulled over to try to help and twice she slipped by everyone, nearly running into traffic once. Several semis and other cats stopped in the left lane to try to give us more room to help her - it was amazing how many people were obviously wanting to do something, anything to help! When she took off running the 3rd time, I was able to get ahead of her. I opened my car door as she came slowly up to my car. The other Streetdog barked a little to let her know if was OK and she climbed right in! She's named Paige after one of the nice ladies who spent most of her morning trying to help this sweet baby."

Now that you know my story I will tell you that I love affection and am good with all size dogs, kitties and kids. I just want to love and be loved in return in a house to call my very own!
