Hershey is a 3-6 yo, adorable poodle boy. He is about 10 lbs, neutered and UTD on shots.

Hershey was saved from a life in a puppy mill in VA when Oodles of Doodles stepped up and rescued them before they were sent to a kill shelter. He is sweet and shy and a bit fearful upon first meeting, but once he feels safe. He will always be a fearful dog around upheaval and a lot of activity. He would do best in a calm, quiet home. Hershey is a sweetheart. He is still young, so we know that with time, love and patience, he will forget his time in a puppy mill and know the love of a real family. He will take a bit to warm up, so you must be aware of this and be patient. Experience with fearful dogs is a must. Please explain in your application.

A FULLY FENCED YARD IS A MUST, as he does not like a leash or to be picked up.

All Oodles of Doodles dogs are located in foster or family homes across the North American Continent. We do not have a central location. THE LOCATION GIVEN IN THE DOG'S NAME IS WHERE HE or SHE IS LOCATED. Unless otherwise stated, WE DO NOT ADOPT, SHIP OR TRANSPORT OUR DOGS AWAY FROM THE AREA THEY ARE IN ** That means within a 50 mile radius **  WE DO NOT ADOPT TO URBAN/APARTMENT ENVIRONMENTS. WE REQUIRE FENCED YARDS (an e-fence is not a secure fence). PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MATCH WHAT WE ARE ASKING FOR. IT ONLY WASTES OUR VALUABLE TIME, AND YOURS.

Breed stated is just a shelter/rescue/foster guess based on size, appearance and temperament. It is impossible for us to know for sure as most of our dogs are strays from high kill shelters.
