Our quiet, pensive, adoptable Sam. He has wanted to have a home since he was rescued by Dogwood Rescue Society last year. He loves to hike, go to the beach and always checks over his shoulder to ensure you're near. while he is ahead on the trail Just when adoptions start to pick up in this Spring and he had several applicants interested in him, he ruptured a disk in his back. How that happened, no-one knows. One night he was fine, the next morning, he had trouble with his hind legs. One of our volunteers took him to surgoen Dr. Hutchinson at Boundary Bar and Sam had a costly operation but currently he is semi-paralyzed and needs a home who can provide him with therapy. He wants to get up and move about but why are his back legs not working?

Sam is a very quiet, calm Weimaraner. He is one of those dogs who has not had very good luck because last year he was relinquished by his owner and placed in a pound, where he became very anxious. Happily Sam has been fostered until this health issue with people who love him but Sam needs more than love right now. He needs donations for therapy and special equipment which will help him build his motor nerves back.

Update: Through therapy with and exercise, Sam is walking slowly again but still has a bit of a physical deficit, which we are hoping will disappear with time. thank you to donors.
