Kelsey Pit Bull Terrier & Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix Omaha, NE

This beautiful spotted and pink nosed girl is Kelsey. A catahoula/pit bull mix (breed specific laws do not apply to her) born on 12/26/2013. She is a very sweet and playful girl who loves to hike, walk, swim, and lounge around. All while also loving to cuddle up, give kisses, and receive butt scratches! She has a wonderful personality that will make you laugh and smile with her goofy mannerisms. Kelsey is deaf and has a lazy eye but that hardly affects her. She is trained to understand many hand signals such as sit, lay down, shake, wait, and come (watch the video to see). Despite being deaf, she does not startle when being touched and she isn’t bothered by fireworks or thunderstorms!

Kelsey was adopted as a puppy by a loving home, but started to not get along with other dogs in the home. So she would do best as an only dog. Don’t let that deter you because she’s very well behaved in public and rides well in vehicles. Kelsey loves her people and wants to be part of a family that will love her back.

Sweet Kelsey was dumped by her breeder due to her being blind in one eye and completely deaf. She is a sweet baby and deserves the best home!!


All of our dogs are current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, fecal tested, heartworm tested, and they are all on heartworm and flea/tick preventative.

The adoption process is an application, a vet reference, a home visit, and a lifetime contract. The requested adoption donation for this dog is $275___.

We are willing to adopt out-of-state, contingent on our ability to complete a home visit, but you must travel to Omaha to complete the adoption. We do not transport or ship our dogs.
