Dumpling's owner is sadly unable to longer provide the care for her that she needs, therefore he is seeking to rehome her, which we are assisting with the placement of Dumpling, as he is an elderly gentleman that is no longer able to take Dumpling on walks.

Dumpling is a 13 year old friendly chihuahua whose family raised her from puppyhood. Dumpling's owner is seeking a new home for Dumpling that can provide her daily walks and/or a yard, and the attention she is still seeking.

Upon meeting Dumpling, she immediately came up and offered kisses. She is a friendly dog with people, and would do well with children over the age of 10. Per her owner, she has been around cats. We would recommend Dumpling be an only dog, or go to an experienced owner with a current submissive dog. A meet and greet would be required to assess.

Per her owner, Dumpling is house trained, and has no medical issues. She is current on her shots, spayed and is not on any medication at this time. As Dumpling is 13 years old, her ideal new owners would be in the financial position to tend to any medical needs that may arise with senior animals.

Dumpling has a very nominal rehoming fee only to insure she has serious adopters. We would love to see this sweet girl find her new forever home, as she still is active and has much life in her. If you would like to meet Dumpling, please contact our rescue. She is currently living in San Marcos, CA.
