Meet Champ

Champ is a very playful dog. He loved to run, play with my older dog before she (older dog) had a stroke. He loves people, kids, and dogs. He's always chewing on his toys. He is house trained and a very good listener. He is brenal blue and tan stripes. He was born with neurological disorder that caused a curve in his spine. My mom is unable to keep him anymore more due to my older dog recently having had a stroke and having a hard time walking without falling. With him loving to play so much he won't leave her alone. My mother doesn't want to leave him locked up in the cage or outside in the cold. I have been looking for no kill shelters since I got him in September, but they have all been full. The original owner wanted to put him down due to Champs condition. So my younger brother asked him if it was fine that I take Champ and see if I could find out what I could do for him. I got ahold of an organization in Dallas who was able to help me by guiding me to City Vet in Dallas on Oaklawn to see what was wrong. During the visit we found out that it was a neurological issue and nothing could be done with his spine.
Recently I have been reaching out online trying to find more no kill shelters that could help find space for him and from there to a home that would love him as much as I do. Thank you so much for anything and everything that could be done to help.
