Trent Pit Bull Terrier New York, NY

Handsome 2 year old Trent (formerly Trunk) is hoping to meet someone with an extra tennis ball. This 45 lb. brindle Pit Bull mix was saved from death row, thanks to a wonderful foster family. This is one affectionate boy who loves to give you kisses and hugs. He loves to snuggle with you and thinks he's still a 10 pound puppy. Trent is a total sweetheart and you can easily take toys and food out of his mouth. Trent LOVES to play fetch, eagerly with a wagging tail chasing after the ball and bringing it back for another toss. Easily taking the ball out of his mouth he keeps his eye on it just waiting for the next toss and off he goes! He's happy, exuberant and wants us all to know it -too cute! Trent knows how to sit when asked to, accepts treats gently and keeps an eye on the treat when we stop to take some photos. After playing ball with Trunk for a while, I begin to wonder if this is what the ball players refer to as a 'spit ball'. Lots of dog slobber makes for a fun throw! Trunk never chews the ball - just diligently brings it back for another toss. Kiss, hug, retrieve, kiss, hug, retrieve, repeat repeat repeat. We can't think of a better way to spend an afternoon.
