Brutus Schnauzer & Yorkshire Terrier Mix Greensboro, NC

Meet Brutus, a young male dog who was born on 6-30-13, making him nearly 8 months old. Brutus was surrendered to our rescue by a young family who had too many dogs and they didn’t have the funds to provide vet care for them.

Brutus appears to be a Miniature Schnauzer / Yorkie and Shih Tzu mix. He has a non shedding coat and it is on the coarse side. He has gorgeous markings and he weighs about 12 lbs.

Brutus loves to be held and picked up. Initially when he first met us, he was a bit shy but within minutes, he was jumping into our laps and asking to be held.

Since arriving to the rescue, Brutus was updated on his shots, dewormed and got his first month’s Heartworm prevention pill. Brutus was also dewormed.

Brutus was neutered on Feb. 11th. It was a routine surgery and he is doing great. Brutus has a Home Again Microchip too! Brutus was professionally groomed on Monday, Feb. 10 and we've updated new pics of him.

Brutus is house trained. He is crate and leash trained and rides very well in car.

Brutus will make an outstanding family dog. Brutus is wonderful with other dogs and he is a very affectionate dog.
