Meet Sandy

Somehow I ended up at a rural shelter and tested heartworm positive. I was lucky that Save-A-Pet took me in because many organizations wouldn’t have. That’s why I am looking for a foster home to finish my treatment (would still be handled/coordinated by Save-A-Pet) and once done, that would consider making me a part of their family. The original shelter said I was good with dogs but I haven't been too good around here. What else can I tell you? I’m a happy girl that believes a lap is an open invitation for me to climb right in. So what if I don’t quite fit in, it’s still the perfect spot for snuggling and giving kisses, don’t you agree?
