Meet Belle
Rose and her mother, Belle, were confiscated from a hoarding/neglect situation by our humane agent. They were so underweight that they had to only have pasture access occasionally so they didn't gorge themselves. They get along great together and would love to be adopted together.
Rose is younger (approximately 18) and more active than Belle. She loves to run and play in the field and kick up her heels! Rose had no negative reaction to a rider mounting her but we are unsure if she has been broke to ride well or not. She seems sweet and gentle and would make a great 4-H pony!
Belle is Rose's mother and is approximately 24 years old. Belle is sweet and gentle too and loves treats. She comes right to you looking for a handout but gets bored easily and goes back to grazing. Belle would also make a great 4-H pony!
