Meet Shortbread
Once upon a time not so long ago, Momma Cookie (see second photo) came to Luv-A-Bull with a really big litter of puppies. Odd, she only had 5 of her own. Turns out, she had kindly taken over the care of 3 other orphan puppies whose moms had died. Shortbread is one of Cookie's own pups. Cookie had a hard time with so many puppies, so they were all bottle fed as well as nursed until little Cookie's body just couldn't feed all these babies. She was quite relieved when they were weaned a little early so everyone could have a chance to thrive. Cookie is recovering nicely, and little Mr. Shortbread would love to have someone take him home and fuss over him. It's easy to do....just look at that face!
