Meet Chrissy

Chrissy came into rescue from a hoarder situation. She is a sable merle, under two years old and weighs about 20 pounds. She delivered a litter of puppies shortly after arriving. Her pups have all been placed and Chrissy was sent to a special foster home for socialization. She was extremely shy, malnourished, timid, fearful and knew nothing of the big outside world beyond the nightmare she had been living in since birth. She has made good progress since then.

She is housetrained, walks on a leash and visits the beach and pet stores in the area with her foster "mom". Living with a very large dog and another sheltie, Chrissy has learned what it is like to be a real dog and to run and play and that people are not so bad. She will, however, need continued socialization, love, patience and an obedience class will be highly recommended. It may take a couple of months for her to adjust in a new home.

A VISIBLE, SECURELY FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED FOR CHRISSY
