Meet Mary Antoinette

THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING:

Mary Antoinette is friendly and inquisitive, who enjoys getting petted and lounging on beds or your lap. She is a semi-feral and has done remarkably well in the home environment. Mary would do well in homes with other cat members, especially other female cats, and would take a little longer to get used to her new home and human family otherwise. She Is very loving and generous and forms tight friendships with other cats. She would be most suitable to people who have many years experience with cats so they can assist her new home transition. She has a cute, high meow, and likes to play with toys, and chase stick toys in particular. She may not be suitable for young children, as she does get skittish on occasion and scares easily.

How is rescue possible? Rescue is made possible by the compassion of individuals who open up their home to foster an animal and the generous tax deductible donations made by private citizens.
We are at Petsmart on Chandler Blvd. & the 101 (Lowes Plaza) in Chandler on most Saturdays. PLEASE call or email prior to coming to visit a dog or puppy to be sure we will be there and your pup is still available. We do try to remove them right away from the internet once they have a home, but there are times that we error and don't take them off as soon as we would like to.
** If this pet is NOT ALTERED, it is only available for FOSTER TO ADOPT, until Altering is completed. The adoption fee includes micro-chipping, spay/neutering, and 5:1 shots
.

UPDATE: As of June 7th 2014, Kit Kat Rescue is NOW R.A.I.N. Rescue!! (Rescuing Animals in Need)

We try to remove each cat, kitty, dog and puppy as soon as they are adopted.

CAN YOU HELP US????
R.A.I.N. Rescue is desperately seeking foster homes for SMALL dogs, puppies, cats and kittens.
We are currently needing volunteers for these Departments also:

Foster Homes, Transporters, Groomer, Adoption Center, Donation Station and Fund-raisers.

FOSTERING: We take in "small" dogs, puppies, cats and kittens to foster.
The fosters DO NOT pay out of pocket for expenses while Fostering
ANY animals in our Rescue. This is a Misconception of many folks. The Rescue pays for everything necessary. We also accommodate for time away.
*Some of our best fosters have been the winter visitors, who may only be able to take in dogs for 3-4 months.

TRANSPORTERS: A person designated to take the dogs and cats for their vetting. (Spay/Neuter etc), groomers and sometimes to pick up and drop off at adoption events when the fosters are unable to bring them. Picking up new strays/owner surrenders etc and taking them to their foster home. This position will pay mileage.

FUND-RAISERS: Anything to help bring in funds to our non-profit Rescue. You will earn 10% of the money brought in to help the animals for each event!

GROOMER: A skilled groomer with their own grooming equipment that can groom / bathe/clip nails on small dogs/puppies. We will supply the shampoo/towels etc. We would bring them to your location in the east valley.

VOLUNTEERS AT ADOPTION CENTER: Cleaning cat kennels (Inside help with cats and kittens weekday days & nights), cats laundry (pick up and drop off), play time with cats, feeding cats, Walking dogs, cleaning their kennels, watering & feeding, Quiet petting time and playing with them.

PHOTO POSTINGS: Cats & kittens that are adoption ready at the Petsmart Center, take photos of cats & kittens and get information on them, post on 3 of our favorite sites online.
This job is currently being structured /created, and will be opening up soon!

DONATION STATION: Someone to “faithfully” be at Petsmart and set up the donation table (table provided), The table will have items on it with information about our rescue, our business cards, volunteer job listings, a donation jar, and a donation basket for anyone wanting to donate misc. items (dog food/toys etc) and small items that can be given out to those who donate. Flexable day(s) and time(s) can be discussed.

*All these positions help the animals find forever homes. Please open your heart & possibly your home, costing you only "time".
Nothing "out of pocket"….and all from your heart.
Many Thanks!!!!

If you are able to help out~ Please go to our website for a volunteer or foster application.
