Meet Zeus
11/16/2013
Zeus is about two years old. He is a bit shy and tries to hide from everyone. He does have some swelling on the left elbow. As soon as we can gather the funds, we will take him to the vet.
2/3/2015 Zeus was taken to the vet about a year ago and it was determined that he has arthritis. He is able to get around, but will soon need pain management. He will be going to the vet for a re-check to see how the elbow is doing. He is being considered a "special needs" iguana.
4/13/2015 Zeus is now taking pain meds for his arthritis. Potential adopters should be comfortable administering oral medications.
7/3/2015 Zeus has issues with his blood chemistry. We are putting him on hold until further notice.
8/28/2016 Zeus was taken off the pain meds because it was negatively affecting his health. So far he is doing very well. He is eating great and shedding. He is still considered a special needs pet.
