Flossie ~ CGC prepped! Treeing Walker Coonhound Richmond, VA

~~Hi! My name is Flossie, and I have to tell you, my pictures do NOT do me justice. Especially when it comes to my cute, freckled face and sable-colored ears - I'm just adorable! I'm not your typical hound, either. I'm fun, quirky, loving, and very personable. I love it when you ask me to play dead or roll over (those are my favorite tricks!). I don't really have much interest in other dogs, but I LOVE to be with my people. I especially like to play with toys if you're holding the other end and playing with me. And if you like to walk, I'm definitely your girl because I'm really good at that! I know all of my obedience cues (did you notice that I'm CGC prepped?) and I won't get into your things. Even on days when you don't feel like doing much, I'm okay with just hanging out and being chill.~~

4/14/2015: At four and a half years old and 43 lbs, Flossie is the ultimate family pet! Flossie has now been in our program for over a year and in that time she has won a lot of hearts. While Flossie is not good with cats, she's met so many dogs and kids and has been wonderful attending events for Pen Pals. Flossie knows her basic manners, but she's also wonderful in her crate and knows more complex tricks like roll over and play dead. Flossie is a wonderful snuggler and really appreciates belly rubs. Flossie adjusts well to new situations and meets everyone with confidence and enthusiasm, and she does well traveling, so she'd be a good companion for someone who is always on the go. She likes long walks and lazy Sundays. She has been housed with a 4 and 1/2 foot fence with no incidents of escape. Everyone loves Flossie--now she just needs her forever home.
