Josh'A Winner' Domestic Short Hair Mt. Vernon, NY

Josh was found on a busy street a few blocks from the shelter. He was hungry, dirty and thin. People said that his previous owner left him behind when she moved to Ct. Some of the neighbors threw down scraps for him, but of course it was never enough. A volunteer at the shelter spotted Josh as she was driving, and could see that he had the lost, sad look of a cat that has been tossed. We think Josh had been abandoned more than a year ago. Josh was glad when the volunteer put some food down, but it was clear he no longer expected the loving touch and petting from a human. Josh was quickly scooped up and brought to the MVAS. Here, he has thrived with a passion! What an amazing change! Josh is now showing all who he says that he is 100% adorable, friendly and a true love-machine. Life is good for him now, and it shows! Please come meet this fantastic cat soon.
