Meet Lucy~ I was featured on Channel 2's ADOPT A PET segment!
Lucy is living in a foster home now. If you would like to meet her, please send an email to dillinger729@aol.com. She is crate trained, housebroken, and does great with other dogs!
Lucy is a 9 month old shepherd mix who was recently surrendered to the shelter. Her owner was moving across the country, and unfortunately could not take her. Â Lucy was very scared and confused as to how she ended up being at the shelter, but with the nurturing guidance of dedicated volunteers, she feels a little more comfortable in her surroundings. Â Her previous owner reported that she was good with older kids, and housebroken. Â Lucy is still a little aloof when meeting new people, but if you give her a few minutes to make friends with you, she will gladly take you up on that offer! In fact, she recently made a debut on TV that she did wonderful... check out the link! Â http://www.wgrz.com/video/default.aspx?bctid=2684107332001 . She loves to frolic in the yard and is graceful like a gazelle when she runs! Â Lucy is extremely dog friendly and might do best in a home with another canine older sister or brother to help give her guidance and structure. Â She seemed to past her cat test with flying colors as well! Â Wuth a little guidance and love, we think she'll be a wonderful family addition. Lucy is already spayed and ready to go home! When you adopt me, Â You will receive a $50 gift card to Petsmart so that we can go shopping to be me cool things for my new life !!! Thanks to Newman Electric for sponsoring me!!! Â
